Academic Scholarships

The Dante Alighieri Society of Denver Scholarship Program assists college students attending an institution in the Denver metropolitan area or in northeastern Colorado in advancing their study of the Italian language and culture through study-abroad programs in Italy. These are one-time, non-renewable awards and the minimum award is $1500.  They can be applied to summer, semester, or year-long programs. We are now accepting scholarship applications for 2026-2027.

Deadline
Students planning to study in Italy for Summer 2026, Fall 2026, Spring 2027 or the academic year 2026-2027 must submit completed applications, along with all supporting documentation, no later than April 1, 2026.  All documentation must be submitted electronically.

Winners will be notified by April 15, 2026.  Scholarships will be awarded at the Society's Annual Awards Luncheon on Sunday May 3rd, 2026 at the Mt. Vernon Canyon Club in Golden, CO. Winners must be present to receive their award.
