Learn how to prepare a romantic candlelit dinner with exquisite flavors, and a touch of amore. This Valentine’s season, Chefs Adam Giardino and Tom Mirabito invite you to Cucina dell’Amore, a culinary experience designed to celebrate love through food.
Dante’s favorite chefs have crafted a thoughtful, elegant menu—perfect for creating a memorable evening with someone special. Join us at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday, February 7, at Servite Hall for this intimate cooking class.

Antipasto:
- Spicy Roasted Red Pepper, Capocollo and Gorgonzola Piccolo Rollio served with a Basil Salad Bruschetta
Primo:
- Seared Beef Tenderloin served with Creamy Lobster Pasta, and Heirloom Tomato Salad.
Dolce:
- Italian Strawberry Crepes Drizzled with a Chocolate Hazelnut Sauce and Topped with Ricotta Whipped Cream

Our culinary classes are more than just learning how to cook — they are shared experiences. As we prepare traditional Italian recipes side by side, camaraderie builds naturally, the experience ends with everyone gathered at the table to enjoy what we’ve created together. In true Italian fashion, food becomes the bridge to connection, conversation, and community.

Italian Level 1
This class is for students who have no knowledge of the Italian language. This class will teach them to communicate in simple everyday situations. Units 1-4 of the book will be covered.

Italian Level 2
This class will require a rudimentary knowledge of the Italian language. It will strive to make students comfortable with simple Italian conversation. Units 3 of the book will be covered.

Italian Level 3
This more advanced class will require students to be more comfortable with grammar and vocabulary reflected in more advanced conversation. Units 3, 4 and 5 will be covered.

Italian Intermediate / Advanced 1
In this class the students must be familiar with the vocabulary from the entire book 1b and will be asked questions in Italian using such vocabulary and will learn to answer correctly in Italian.

Italian Advanced 2
This class is for students who can independently read simple articles and report on them in Italian to the class.

Italian Storytelling
In this class students will be introduced to different fairy tales, fables and articles and literature. Complex grammar structure and nuanced vocabulary will be emphasized. Focus will be on language fluency, accuracy and complex communications skills.
All materials will be supplied by the Instructor.

This is a class for students who feel confident conversing in Italian.
