Taste of Italy — January at PARISI sotto

The Dante Alighieri Society invites you to continue our Taste of Italy tour — a year-long journey through authentic Italian cuisine, featuring one exceptional Italian restaurant each month.

In January, we gather at PARISI sotto, an intimate and atmospheric dining space tucked beneath Parisi’s beloved Highlands location. This hidden gem captures the soul of Italian hospitality, blending Old World tradition with thoughtfully crafted seasonal dishes inspired by Italy’s diverse regions.

This evening will be served family style, encouraging shared plates, conversation, and connection — just as meals are meant to be enjoyed in Italy. PARISI sotto has designed a special menu exclusively for our group, showcasing classic flavors, house-made pastas, and wood-fire grilled specialties prepared with care and authenticity.

More than just dinner, this event is about community — slowing down, sharing stories, and celebrating Italian culture around the table.

Anelli di Calamari Fritti
Fried calamari served with spicy tomato sauce.

Bruschettine di Pane Casareccio
Toasted ciabatta topped with stracciatella, prosciutto crudo, honey, and arugula.

Rigatoni Vecchia Milano
Rigatoni tossed with cherry tomatoes, pine nuts, sun-dried tomato pesto, ricotta salata, and fresh basil.

Grigliata Mista
Wood-fire grilled sausage link, ribs, and sirloin steak, served with verdi e bianchi.

Individual Tiramisu
Savoiardi (lady fingers) dipped in espresso and layered with mascarpone.
